The Residence Inn on West Walnut Street is built for staying a while. Every room is a suite with a full kitchen, from a 425-square-foot studio up to a two-bedroom at 725, and the hot breakfast each morning comes with the room. Old Pasadena is 0.3 miles away by Marriott's count, and the Rose Bowl 1.5. There's a heated outdoor pool. Guests are mostly happy with the space and the location. Service is where they split: some praise the staff, while others describe trouble at check-in and with room assignments. Pets cost $100 a stay for up to two, each 40 pounds or under, which is cheap spread over a week. The October 19, 2026 booking screen carried no destination fee. Marriott lists self-parking at $40 a day, and the hotel's own attractions page promises complimentary parking for guests staying multiple nights. Those can't both be the whole story. On a four-night stay the difference is $160, so get the answer in writing when you book.
