The AC Hotel Pasadena is on the Rose Parade route. It stands at Madison Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, and Marriott's rooms page pictures a king room with a balcony view of Colorado Boulevard. For the other 364 days the draw is the roof. Osa, the restaurant and bar up there, serves California food and looks out toward the San Gabriel Mountains, from 4 pm on weekdays and from 10 am on weekends. Breakfast downstairs at AC Kitchen costs extra. Marriott's activities page lists a gym and no pool, so don't pack for one. Valet is $50 a day, and Marriott lists no self-park rate. There's no destination fee on the booking screen (checked October 19, 2026), which keeps the car as the main add-on, but bring a dog as well and the extras reach $100 a night: $50 for valet and $50 for the pet, with up to two allowed at 50 pounds or less. If you're booking for the parade, ask how you'd get the car out. Colorado Boulevard closes to traffic from 10 pm on December 31 until 2 pm on January 1, and the hotel publishes nothing about valet during those hours.
