Free parking is the Wyndham's best line, and the hotel's own overview page fences it in: it excludes The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and major events at Reliant Stadium. The page prints no price for those days, and a guest during the World Cup period was warned of a charge even though the lot looked empty. On any other night the car costs nothing. Taxes on Wyndham's November 17 booking screen came to 17 percent with no fee line, so an ordinary night costs the room rate plus that. The walk to Reliant Stadium is 10 minutes, 730 meters, which is 3 minutes longer than from the Wingate at 8600 Kirby Drive, and a reviewer in 2025 argued that other hotels sit closer. This is a full-service hotel, with a restaurant, a bar, a Starbucks and a business center in house and free high-speed WiFi in the rooms. It is also older. The evidence on rooms is thin and uneven, with one review from 2025 describing a musty second-floor room and a broken ice machine.
