Staff at this Residence Inn get credit in reviews, down to a family who were offered a crib at no charge and had it brought up. Guests describe spacious, clean rooms, though one reviewer found the furnishings simple, and some reviewers on one booking site were unhappy for reasons we couldn't read. All 182 suites have full kitchens, per a 2019 press release that also lists a free hot breakfast and an indoor pool, and guests back up the kitchens and the breakfast. Marriott's page puts self-parking at $9 a day and lists no valet, so a week with a car adds $63 to the rate, and one guest called the daily charge steep. Over a long stay the kitchen and the free breakfast can outweigh that. Marriott's screen for November 17 listed rates with no Destination Fee line. Pets are allowed for a $150 fee. Reliant Stadium is a 15-minute walk, 1,153 meters, and guests say Rice and a supermarket are close enough to walk to.
