Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Staybridge is an extended-stay brand, and this one puts suite-style rooms near the hospitals, with restaurants nearby according to guests. Reliant Stadium is 18 minutes away on foot, 1,344 meters. The first room on IHG's November 17 screen went up roughly 17 percent with taxes included, Houston's hotel tax and nothing more. IHG's page says on-property parking is available without printing an amount, so ask the desk what the car adds. The page says pets are welcome and prints no pet fee either. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. None of the reviews we read carried a date. Guests praise the staff and the cleanliness. Several like the breakfast, though one site's summary is mixed on it, and the evening happy hour is mentioned too. Some call the rooms spacious and quiet. Others report noise and uncomfortable beds, along with broken fixtures and slow staff response. Billing problems come up as well.
