Guests walk out through the Holiday Inn's parking lot to Reliant Stadium on game days, with no stadium traffic to sit in. The routed walk is 11 minutes, 789 meters. One guest said people parking in that lot for stadium events limited entry to the hotel, so on a Texans or Rodeo day arrive early. Noise is a recurring complaint, from thin walls and neighbors heard at night, and one guest found the air conditioner very loud. Light sleepers should ask for a quiet room. None of the guest reports we found is dated after 2024. IHG's booking screen for November 17 has no rate-details block, so we checked the tax: ticking 'Includes taxes and fees' raised each rate by 17 percent, which is Houston's hotel tax. Parking is $10 a day with in and out privileges, per IHG's hotel page, which doesn't say whether tax applies to it. Three nights with a car add $30 to the rate and its tax.
