The Houston Marriott Uptown's rates carried no Destination Fee, while the JW and both Westins build $25 into theirs. Self-parking is $7 an hour or $32 a day and valet is $44 a day, per Marriott's page, before any tax. A valet night comes to $44 here and $83 at the Westin Galleria once its fee is counted. It's built for meetings, with 22,200 square feet of event space across 16 rooms, per Visit Houston's listing, which also puts an indoor pool and a Starbucks on site. The 17Fifty Bistro is there too, per the same listing. The Galleria is 8 minutes away on foot. No pets are allowed. Check-in is 4 PM, a long wait if you land in the morning, and check-out is 11 AM. We found too few written reviews to name a recurring complaint. Older listings, and some booking sites, call the hotel Houston Marriott West Loop by the Galleria, so search both names.
