Every room at the Chifley is a suite, 284 of them, per its management company. None of the 10 rooms on Hilton's booking screen carried a mandatory charge. There's a year-round outdoor pool with a whirlpool, and the Rouse restaurant and bar is on site. The mall is a 9-minute walk. Noise comes up in reviews, from the freeway side and from repair work. Check-out is 11 AM, an hour earlier than at the other two Hilton hotels in this area, and a pet adds a non-refundable $75. Self-parking is $32 a day and valet $44, per Hilton's hotel-info page, the same valet price as the Marriott Uptown, before any tax. The garage drew the most specific complaints. Reviews describe a parking company that runs its own gate and bills on its own. Exit gates have failed, and charges have arrived apart from the hotel's bill and proved hard to dispute, so ask at check-in how parking is charged.
