Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Every suite at the TownePlace has a kitchen with full-size appliances and cookware, which makes it the better pick over the Courtyard it shares a building with once a stay runs past a couple of nights. No fee line appeared on Marriott's booking screen for November 11. Guests found the front desk friendly, and reviews describe big rooms with a free breakfast. The rooms read as dated, down to a worn sofa bed and weak Wi-Fi, and part of the building was under renovation in 2026. Two hotels working out of one building confuses people at check-in, by the reviews, and the parking lot they share can fill up. Parking in it costs guests nothing, per Marriott's page for the hotel. Pets are welcome, up to two per room at 75 pounds each, for a $100 fee per stay that isn't refunded. Reviews mention a free DFW shuttle, with trouble on some early-morning runs; ask the desk for its hours.
