Hotel Vin is the one hotel in this set within walking distance of Main Street. Book it for that walk. Reviews praise the staff most, down to management going out of their way, and rooms are large with a big bath. A 2021 report described street traffic and live music on the Main Street side, so ask for a room away from it. Marriott's booking screen for November 11 showed no fee line, but parking costs extra: $24 a day to self-park and $39 for valet, by Marriott's page for the hotel. Reviews call it excessive. Three nights of self-parking is $72. One report says Wi-Fi was charged extra on a booking made through a third party and wasn't mentioned at the time. Reviews say there is no hotel shuttle to DFW, only the TEXRail train. At 50 minutes on foot, Hotel Vin has the longest routed walk to the Gaylord Texan of the eight hotels here that have one.
