The Sheraton, at 1701 Commerce Street, is 16 minutes on foot from Sundance Square Plaza, the longest walk of the twelve. Reviews put it near the Water Garden and the train station, and they credit the beds and the soft pillows. Valet is the only parking Marriott's hotel page lists. It is $48 a day, $96 for a Friday and Saturday, and Marriott's booking screen showed no fee to add to it. One guest found the valet costlier than a street-parking ticket. The valet can take vehicles set up for wheelchair users. Service is uneven. Room service draws the sharpest complaints, along with how staff handled one late-night disturbance. Reviews call the food mediocre and note there is no outdoor pool, and one guest found the pool under maintenance. Thin walls pass hallway and neighbor noise. Fewer guests have written about this hotel than about the Omni, so the pattern is less settled.
