Reviews report no bellman to help with bags at Le Meridien, which they flag as a gap for a hotel pitched this far upmarket. Valet won't promise a space when you come back, according to reviews, and one guest was told the lots were full until staff noticed a key tag. Marriott lists valet at $59 a day and doesn't say whether tax is added. We found no self-parking rate, and Marriott's screen showed no fee. Most guests find the rooms clean, with good beds, in a hotel six minutes on foot from Sundance Square Plaza, at 811 Commerce Street. Check-in is quick even on a late arrival, by guests' accounts, and several liked the pool, though in one review its music carried into rooms late at night and towels ran out early. One detailed review describes late housekeeping and an unfriendly night desk clerk.
