Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Hotel Henrietta opened in spring 2024 as a sister property to The Columns, which sits a few blocks up St. Charles Avenue. Its 40 rooms draw almost no complaints. Guests single out the mid-century design and the balconies over the avenue. Beds and shower pressure get good marks, and the lobby coffee bar keeps pulling people back downstairs. The suites have kitchenettes, and the streetcar stops out front, which is how most guests get to the Quarter or to Tulane. Accounts from March 2025 through July 2026 describe extra charges turning up on a card weeks after checkout, followed by calls and emails to management that nobody returned. Others say the front desk gave different answers to the same question, and one guest in August 2025 found the lobby dark and unstaffed late at night with the door unlocked. Calls and emails about group bookings went unanswered in the same stretch, so a wedding block that depends on the office calling back is a real gamble here. The guest who does well is a couple or a small family willing to settle any problem face to face at the desk. Watch your card statement for a few weeks after you leave. The hotel's own site publishes neither a resort fee nor a parking rate. Guests describe a small on-site lot that fills up, and they disagree on whether it costs anything.

Does Hotel Henrietta charge a resort fee?
Not that it publishes. No resort or amenity fee appears anywhere on the hotel's website, so ask for the all-in total before you book.
Is there parking at Hotel Henrietta?
The hotel doesn't publish any parking details. Guests describe a small on-site lot that fills up, and they don't agree on whether it's free, so call reservations at +1 504-358-8818 if you're driving.
How do I get to the French Quarter from Hotel Henrietta?
Take the streetcar. The hotel is on the St. Charles line, and guests say it stops right out front, which is how most of them head downtown.
What time is check-in at Hotel Henrietta?
Not published. The hotel's site lists no check-in or check-out time, so confirm it by phone if you're arriving late, since one guest in 2025 reported an unstaffed lobby late at night.
Do rooms at Hotel Henrietta have kitchens?
The suites do. The 459 sq ft Studio Suites have kitchenettes with a microwave and dishwasher, and the 895 sq ft Grand Suite has one with a Smeg refrigerator. King and Double Queen rooms get a mini-fridge.
Is Hotel Henrietta a good choice for a wedding or group block?
Go in carefully. The hotel markets room blocks, but guests in 2025 and 2026 describe calls and emails to management, including about group bookings, going unanswered. Get every term in writing.
