Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
The heated saltwater pool in Chateau LeMoyne's courtyard stays open until 10pm, and it is the best-liked part of a stay here. Guests also name individual staff members for going out of their way. A renovation has been reported, yet guests writing into 2026 still describe worn bathrooms and tired hallway carpet, so don't assume the refresh reached your room. Street-facing rooms pick up noise from the Bourbon Street blocks, and the restaurant and room service draw complaints about slow service. Ask for a courtyard-facing or balcony room when you book; balcony rooms come up often enough to be worth the request. If an updated room matters more to you than being inside the Quarter, look elsewhere. Parking is the charge that surprised guests most, and one found the invoice didn't match the quote. Valet is the only parking the hotel lists, at $50 a night plus tax with in-and-out privileges ($65 for an oversized vehicle). The hotel's site names no resort fee anywhere. Its package prices do show a separate "fees" amount that the page never labels, so read the final total before you pay.
