The Westin Chicago River North leads with its gym, a studio open 24 hours with four Peloton bikes. The rooms have Heavenly Beds. Downstairs, Rise Cafe sells grab-and-go breakfast from 6 AM and 320 RiverBar stays open until 11 PM. Reviews push back on the daily charges and on weak shower pressure in the bathrooms, and some rooms read as dated. The rate on the booking screen already includes a $30 destination fee, and Chicago's room tax is charged on that rate, fee and all. Valet takes vehicles under 6 feet 5 inches and adds $88 a day on top. Self-parking in the Greenway Garage takes vehicles under 8 feet, though the hotel lists no price for it. The off-site garage on its travel page is cheaper, at $65 a day or $18 an hour. Pets up to 40 pounds are welcome, and the Westin Wag program gives dogs a treat and a dog bed.
