LondonHouse is about the rooftop and the river-view rooms. The hotel runs four places to eat and drink: LH Rooftop, LH on 21, Bridges Lobby Bar and Land & Lake. Hilton's screen shows the price with a $25.00 mandatory charge per night already inside it, and taxes and government charges come on top. Parking is valet only. Hilton's page puts it at $85.00 a night and the hotel's own site at $80, so count on the higher figure. Drive in for four nights and the charge and the valet come to $440 before tax, $110 a night. Reviewers find the rooms larger than typical for downtown Chicago, and the hotel has 452 rooms and suites in all. Cloud Gate is a 10-minute walk, and standard Wi-Fi is free. The room is yours from 4 p.m. until noon on the day you leave. The 24-hour gym has TechnoGym equipment, and Windy City Massage runs the spa. Prices run high on the roof and in the room, by reviewers' accounts, and a restaurant review found the rooftop food weaker than the setting. On some floors the street comes through at night.
