The Starling was the W Atlanta Midtown until a June 13, 2022 rebrand, and some booking sites still carry the old name in places. It is a Curio Collection hotel at Colony Square with 466 rooms, 33 of them suites, next to Politan Row and 9 minutes on foot from the Woodruff Arts Center. It has a spa, two restaurants per Hilton, a 24-hour fitness center and the Lantana lobby lounge. Hilton's booking screen for November 17, 2026 added no mandatory charge to the rate. Self-parking is not available, and valet is $69 a night, the highest of the 11 Midtown hotels that publish a rate. A week of valet is $483, and Hilton doesn't say whether tax is added, so this is a hotel to book when you won't be driving. Check-in is at 4 PM, check-out at 11 AM. Reviews mention wear in the rooms and uneven service. The terrace pool that listings still advertise was reported closed in June 2026, and we could not confirm it has reopened.
