Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Hotel Granada sits in a building from 1923, with 120 rooms and a bar underneath called May Peel. Pom Court, the all-day restaurant, opens onto an open-air courtyard, and the Woodruff Arts Center is 5 minutes away on foot. The building was the Artmore Hotel, and it is now a member of Design Hotels that takes Marriott Bonvoy. Rooms often come across as large in reviews, and the courtyard and lobby bar are the parts people remember. Book it for that character, because polish is where it slips: service is described as uneven. We read Marriott's booking screen for November 17, 2026, and no Destination Fee was on it. Parking is $50, and the two sources disagree on what that buys. Marriott's page calls it daily self-parking, and the hotel's own FAQ describes valet at $50 a night. Neither page says whether tax is added. The FAQ puts the airport a 14-mile drive away and mentions no shuttle.
