The Sagamore sells art and square footage: an oceanfront all-suite hotel at Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road, where the public spaces double as a gallery and even the base studio comes with a spacious bathroom and a dining table for two. Guest scores land around 8 out of 10 across thousands of reviews, and they break the same way every time. Location rates close to perfect, staff get called friendly and professional, and the suites read as genuinely big. The complaints repeat just as reliably: rooms that feel dated, maintenance gripes about air conditioning and ceilings, sound carrying between units, and irritation about the fee stack. That last one deserves the math. The resort fee is $49 a night plus tax, covering Wi-Fi, two beach chairs, 24/7 fitness center access, two hours of bike rental, two water bottles and the in-room safe. Shade is not in it: umbrellas cost $30++ and loungers $17++. Parking is valet only at $27 before taxes with in and out privileges for the first four hours, then $47 excluding taxes after that, so a car parked overnight puts roughly $96 before tax on top of your room every night. Booking one of the categories the hotel itself calls newly modernized, like the Deluxe Garden View King Balcony, answers most of the dated-room reviews. Convention Center trips and Lincoln Road weekends suit it best. Dog owners can skip it, since no pets are permitted.

The stretch of Collins Avenue between 16th and 17th, in the heart of the Art Deco district, with the beach directly behind the property and Lincoln Road's east end about a five-minute walk away. The Miami Beach Convention Center is roughly two blocks off, which makes this a short walk for trade-show weeks and a busy block when a big show is in town. The louder Ocean Drive bar strip sits about a mile south, close enough to walk to and far enough that you are choosing to go there.
