At Loews Hollywood, the car decides the bill. Every night carries a $30 destination fee plus tax, which pays for Wi-Fi and some local attraction perks. Valet adds $65 a night plus tax with in-and-out. That's $95 a night plus tax before the room, or $285 plus tax across a three-night weekend. The Ovation Hollywood garage next door is $25 a day plus tax, but self-parkers get no in-and-out. Leave the car there all stay and fee plus garage comes to $55 a night. Drive out for dinner and you pay again to get back in. The guest who comes out ahead here flies in and never rents a car. For LAX the hotel sends you to Ascend in Motion, a shuttle booked separately at $35 a person, and after that the $30 fee is your only nightly extra. Preston's does breakfast and H2 Kitchen & Bar stays open late. The pool is outdoors and heated, up on the fifth floor. Check-in isn't until 4 pm, and check-out is 11 am. The hotel's info pages don't say whether the $30 fee is already in the first price you see, so read the total on the booking screen before you pay.
