Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Rosewood sits on a quiet block of 31st Street, 3 minutes' walk to the corner of M and Wisconsin, and is small by Rosewood standards. CUT steakhouse is in the hotel, and the roof has a pool and a bar looking toward the Potomac and the Washington Monument. The November 17, 2026 booking screen itemized the nightly rate and Tax 15.95 percent per night, and nothing else before the total. No hotel fee. Valet is the only parking we found, and none of the Rosewood pages we could read gives a price. Phone ahead if you're driving. Housekeeping comes twice a day with an evening turndown, and spa treatments can be done in your room. A dog under 50 pounds can stay for at least $100 a visit, though not in the food and drink areas. Children 17 and under stay in a parent's room at no extra cost. Check-in is 3 PM, and you have until noon to leave, an hour later than any other Georgetown hotel that publishes a check-out time.
