Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
One Washington Circle faces a traffic circle with a hospital nearby. Street traffic and sirens come in from outside, and the in-room heating and cooling is loud on its own. Check-in is 4 PM; ask then for a higher or back-facing room. It is 4 minutes on foot from Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro. Of its 151 rooms, 51 are suites, per the June 25, 2026 release announcing the rebrand, which also says it was AKA Washington Circle until it joined Tapestry Collection by Hilton that month. Rooms are spacious, and some have balconies. The gym and an in-room Nespresso machine come up as pluses. There is no self-parking; valet is $66. That comes on top of Hilton's November 17 price, which already counts a $25 nightly mandatory charge, and the 15.95% room tax and other government charges are added after it. Valet can be slow. Housekeeping and room service ran slow or failed in some stays. A pet costs $150, non-refundable.
