Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Two of The Laura's packages fold the valet into the rate, and with valet at $66 a day plus tax and no self-parking, they're the first thing to price if you're driving. Stay, Park & Savor adds a $25 food and beverage credit each night. Park & Rec covers one vehicle and upgrades the Wi-Fi. On a standard rate, $91 a night before tax goes on fee and car together: the $25 Destination Fee already inside every rate on Marriott's screen, plus the $66 valet. Three nights, $273. The garage can't take oversized trucks, and there are no EV chargers. The rooftop pool looks out over the skyline, and there's a spa inside. The pool bar closes for the season from late September, and after that food and drink come through Hull & Oak Southern Kitchen. The convention center is 11 minutes away on foot. Check-out isn't until noon, and nobody under 21 can check in. Up to two dogs can stay, 75 pounds or less together, for $100 per stay. Reviews report uneven service, valet included.
