Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Two Hyatt hotels share 7329 Fannin Street, and this is the Place, so check the brand name before you pay. Four rooms came up on Hyatt's November 17 screen, none with a destination fee paragraph. Self-parking in the 24-hour garage is $18 a night, and the $6 hourly rate stops at $18 too, so three hours or more costs the same as a night. Hyatt's page gives no tax figure. A three-night stay costs $54 in the garage. Walking to the Dryden/TMC METRORail station takes 21 minutes (1,545 meters), and the Red Line's Smith Lands stop is closer. Reviews call the stay consistent, and the included breakfast is the most common compliment. The rest of the food gets called middling. A March 2026 comment says the pool water isn't heated. Some reviews may mix the two brands, since they share the building. Only Hyatt House's page offers free parking after the seventh night.
