Blossom opened in 2021 and is the design hotel of the group: 16 stories and 267 rooms, with a rooftop pool, a medical spa, the Blossom Reserve restaurant and the Plum Skybar & Lounge on the 13th floor. The Dryden/TMC METRORail station, beside Houston Methodist Hospital, is an 18-minute walk away, 1,332 meters. Parking is valet only at $49, $5 less than the Marriott's and the Westin's $54, and Hilton's info page says self-parking isn't available. The mandatory charge is 0.33 percent per stay, already inside the price on Hilton's November 17 screen, with taxes excluded. On $1,000 of room charges that is $3.30. The front desk, evenings especially, is what reviews bring up most. Check-in is 4 pm, and reviews describe a crowd in the small lobby while rooms are readied. Guests like the restaurant more than the room service. Pets pay a $150 non-refundable fee, the most of any Hilton hotel here.
