Every room at the Renaissance Saint Elm has a working record player and vinyl, and the front desk offers a complimentary cocktail and appetizers on request under its Records and Reserves program. On Marriott's screen for November 11 there was no fee line. No on-site self-parking is listed. Valet is $55 a day, and Marriott doesn't say whether tax is added. Another Marriott page places the valet off-site at the Elm Street Garage, about 0.1 mile away. Pets are $50 a night, non-refundable, two per room up to 75 pounds each. Bring a car and a dog and that is $105 a night on top of the room. The desk checks in guests 21 and over only. Brasserie Toussaint opens at 11 AM on weekdays and 10 AM on weekends, and the second-floor fitness center is open 24 hours. Wi-Fi is free. The hotel lists Union Station and DART for getting around, and its page lists no shuttle. At 20 minutes on foot, the convention center is one of the longer walks among the twelve.
