Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown is a convention-style hotel of 750-plus rooms, with the meeting and ballroom space to match. Bathrooms are a recurring complaint, and the staff get more praise than the rooms do. Logan Circle is 5 minutes on foot, and City Hall and Reading Terminal Market are within walking distance. Marriott's rates for 17 November 2026 had no destination fee folded in. About 16.25% tax goes on each. Surprise extras are the other sore point, parking above all. Marriott's FAQ for the hotel puts self-parking at $53 a day and valet at $69 a day, and does not say whether tax is included in either. At those prices, driving in adds $53 to $69 a night to the room, and three nights on the valet is $207. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is noon. Leave the dog at home: pets are not allowed. Until March 2020 the building traded as the Philadelphia 201 Hotel.
