Pets pay once at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City: up to two of 25 pounds each, $50 for the whole stay and non-refundable, where the Renaissance charges $50 a night. The hotel has 364 rooms at 1 Dock Street, and Independence Hall is a 10-minute walk, farther than from six of the other nine hotels here. Until 2019 it was the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill, and PM Hotel Group manages it now. The rate list for 18 November 2026 had no Includes line, so no destination fee, though its prices were shown with taxes switched off. With that many rooms the hotel owes the 0.75% levy as well as the 15.5% room tax, 16.25% on top of the rate. Off-site valet is $69 a day on Marriott's FAQ, $138 for two nights on top of the room and its tax. Rooms facing the busy road or the lobby walkway can be loud at night. Society Commons is the restaurant and bar.
