Our take

By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer

Reviews of the Sheraton Suites Galleria-Atlanta keep coming back to the separate living area in each suite, used for work or for spreading out. The park is a 12-minute walk, 905 meters. Some third-party listings advertise a pedestrian bridge toward the Cobb Convention Center Atlanta and The Battery, and no hotel page we read confirms it is open. Ask the front desk. The street route is the one we timed. The building is older, and guests mention maintenance lapses and road noise. The November 17 booking screen listed room rates and no destination fee. Tax on the room is 14%, the Cobb County rate, with $8 a night in flat charges on top ($5 to Georgia, $3 to Cobb County). Pets are allowed, up to two at 50 pounds each, with a non-refundable $150 per stay. You have to be 21 to check in. Self-parking is $25 a day on Marriott's info page, $100 over four nights. A Marriott listing seen through search puts vehicles taller than 6 feet 3 inches at $30 a day.
