Our take
By Matt Spaulding, Founder and writer
Bring a dog and a car to Moxy Atlanta Midtown for two nights and the extras come to $210: $110 for parking and $100 for the dog, and Marriott doesn't say whether tax applies to either. Up to two pets of 45 pounds each can stay, for a non-refundable $50 a night, and on-site self-parking is $55 a day, the same as at the AC. Marriott's November 17, 2026 booking screen sold rooms with no Destination Fee line. The 155 rooms face 13th Street, with their own entrance, about 9 minutes on foot from the Woodruff Arts Center, and the AC takes the 14th Street side of the same building. Moxy is the livelier of the two brands, and on High Note the hotels share the pool, cabanas, a bar and a fitness center, so expect more crowd and sound at the rooftop pool than the AC's calmer guests would bring on their own.
