Only the Aloft and the Omni are closer to Truist Park than DoubleTree Suites by Hilton at The Battery Atlanta, a suites hotel 5 minutes on foot from Battery Avenue outside the park. Some booking sites still list it under its old name, DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Atlanta-Galleria. When we read Hilton's screen on October 29, Tuesday, November 17 was gone: "Sorry, we don't have any rooms available for those dates." The screen for December 1 showed no hotel fee or other mandatory charge. Tax on the room is Cobb County's 14%, plus $8 a night: Georgia's $5 and a $3 Cobb County charge. Hilton's hotel-info page puts secured, covered self-parking at $35 a day, with no valet and no EV charging. A car costs $70 over two nights. Pets aren't allowed at all. The reviews we found were thin aggregator summaries that liked the suites and the staff, with no complaint pattern to report. Hilton lists no airport shuttle, and Hartsfield-Jackson is about 17 miles away.
