Aloft is on Battery Avenue itself, at number 950, and the walk to the spot outside Truist Park is 2 minutes, 179 meters. No hotel in this area is closer, and baseball fans single it out in reviews for that walk. Marriott's info page lists on-site self-parking at $35 a day, and paying extra to park is the complaint that comes up. Marriott's screen for November 17 listed room rates and no destination fee. Taxes at Cobb County rates come to 14% of the room. Each night also carries $8 in flat charges: Georgia's $5 state fee and Cobb County's $3. Check-in is at 4 PM, and Marriott's minimum age to check in is 21. One pet up to 40 pounds can come, at $50 a night, non-refundable, so on a three-night stay the dog outspends the car, $150 against $105. Directories can't agree on whether there is a pool at all. Don't pack a swimsuit for it.
