Coral Reef is a deeded interval-ownership resort, and timeshare rules shape most of how a stay here runs. The 64 units are one and two bedroom condos split between a four-story and a six-story building, both served by elevators, and each has a full kitchen with oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and cookware plus a separate living room, so a one-bedroom sleeps four and a two-bedroom sleeps up to six. The trade is housekeeping. Nothing is cleaned during your stay, and guests describe hauling used towels to the front desk to swap them after a beach day. Check-in runs 4 PM to 9 PM, checkout is 10 AM, and only one car per unit is allowed on the property, which matters when two families travel together. Owners and renters agree on the water. Two outdoor pools, the larger a free-form basin holding 360,000 gallons and the smaller one heated, plus three hot tubs, and reviewers say it rarely feels crowded. Hurricane Helene closed the resort in September 2024 and the rebuild ran into late 2025. Listings still flag construction at a neighboring building, and they show the property shut from April 29 to October 3, 2026, which takes a summer trip off the table and makes this a cool-season booking.

Beachfront on the built-up upper stretch of St. Pete Beach, ringed by the big resorts. Snapper's Sea Grill is a block north on Gulf Blvd, and the Corey Avenue shops sit farther north up the boulevard.

Is Coral Reef Beach Resort open right now?

Not this summer. Listings show the property closed from April 29 to October 3, 2026. It also shut after Hurricane Helene in September 2024 and spent most of 2025 rebuilding, so confirm your dates before planning anything.

Is there a resort fee?

There is no nightly resort fee. Housekeeping is not provided during the stay, and a $51 housekeeping charge can apply per stay on one-bedroom exchange bookings, so ask how it applies to the booking you are making.

How much is parking?

Free. Only one car per unit is allowed on the resort property, so a second vehicle has to find space elsewhere.

Does it have a pool?

Two outdoor pools. The larger is a free-form basin holding 360,000 gallons and the smaller one is heated, with three hot tubs alongside. It is the amenity reviewers single out most often, and it rarely fills up.

Do the units have kitchens?

Yes, a full kitchen in every unit: oven, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and cookware, plus a separate living room. One-bedrooms sleep four, two-bedrooms up to six.
