Add two pools and Jimmy B's, the beachfront bar with daily live music, and you have a lively, easygoing base for a beach trip. A few things to know. There is still a resort fee, though it is the fee that covers those beach chairs, so read it as part of the package. And this is a big, social beach resort with a bar-and-music scene, which is exactly the draw for some people and a bit much for anyone hoping for a quiet, polished retreat. Who it suits: value-minded beachgoers who plan to be out on the sand all day and want the chairs, the pools, and a drink with live music a few steps away, without paying resort-flagship prices for it. Are beach chairs really included at the Beachcomber?
Yes, two loungers and an umbrella per room, set up on the sand each day. The big resorts nearby charge $20 to $40 a day for the same setup, so it takes a real bite out of the price gap, and it is covered by the resort fee you are already paying.
Is the Beachcomber renovated?
Yes. It reopened after a full restoration, so it is in fresher shape than the older reviews suggest. It reads as a classic, easygoing beach resort, and the rooms and common areas were worked over in the restoration.
Is the Beachcomber noisy?
